It is important to calculate in your budget the costs involved in buying your dream home:
- 1.Property Transfer Tax - This is currently set at 10% in the Alicante Region and 8% in the Murcia Region of the registered declared value (amount declared on the deeds at the notary).
- 2.Registry Fees - This is based on the registered value of the property and is therefore variable (normally between 500€ and 1,000€).
- 3.Notary Fees - This is variable but is normally around 1% of the declared value of the property.
- 4.Legal representation – This is variable between 1,500€ and 2,000€ plus IVA
