Guardamar beach is defiantly worth a visit
Guardamar del Segura
A visit to Guardamar del Segura beach is defiantly a must! Guardamar beach is possibly one of the best manicured in all Spain
If you like sports, Guardamar offers you every possible sea sport such as sailing, windsurfing, water-skiing, underwater diving, canoeing, jet skiing, etc. There are also the pedalo boats with slides on great for the kids.
Along the beach there are great play areas for children, my daughters love playing on them. You can rent sun loungers and umbrellas.
There is a lovely parade of bars, cafes, restaurants all offering food, drinks, ice creams you can even get yourself a Lilo or boat to take into the seas with you.
Guardamar beach is composed of the finest white sand and the smell of the pine trees which surround them makes for an unforgettable experience.
The beach runs for as far as the eye can see and are so large that even in peak season, there are days when they seem almost deserted.
The beaches are kept very clean and are swept during the season on a daily plus basis.
Guardamar beach stands at the mouth of the river Segura and is surrounded by pine, palm and eucalyptus trees all of which were planted to prevent erosion of one of Spain’s finest beaches.
Why not have a nice day out at the beach, take yourself a picnic, grab your sun umbrella and sun chair, bucket and spade, go for a swim in the sea or sit and relax on the white sand watching the world go by.
